chocolate by bare bones
Bare Bones Chocolate is a small batch, bean-to-bar chocolate company from Glasgow.
The beans are sourced from co-operative farms in Dominican Republic, Honduras and El Salvador
Each process of creating the perfect bar is done by hand – with lots of time, attention to detail and care. Once the beans arrive, the good beans are sorted from the bad (only the best beans make the cut!) and then roasted. Roasting is a delicate and precise process which brings out the unique flavour profile in each bean – this can be anything from fruity berries, vanilla tones, deep velvety caramel or a sharp citrus tang.
Honduras - 55% Milk (taste notes of raisins, toffee and double cream)
Honduras with coffee - 54% milk (taste notes of dates, toffee and delicate coffee)
Philippines - 70% dark (with taste notes of pecan tart and boozy banoffee pie)
Guatemala - 65% dark (with taste notes of honey, praline and stone fruits)
